I was on WEBS today looking for yarn for a project, when I noticed that their Cascade 220 superwash is on mega markdown. $6, from $10/skein. I think it's be perfect for Rogue, which has been on my to-do list for a long time, so I'm thinking I'll order some and take advantage of their sale. But...I can't pick a color. Black is my default, but the pattern seems complicated and it might be wise to be able to see my stitches, at least a little. Traditional tweeds or white/cream seem to be what everyone online is using, and they all look nice, but they're not really me. Olive green (801) or chocolate brown (819) are strong possibilities. I've been on a pretty big brown kick lately. I'm already doing my Puff Sleeve Cardigan in a dark plum color, and though they have a nice purple (803, which is my fave on the page), two purple sweaters in a row would not be very motivating. Or there's super bright red (808/809) , or blue (813). I'm having trouble imagining a cabled hoodie in bright red, but it might be nice right? I'm definitely leaning toward darker, rather than the many pastels available (including pink, surprisingly), but I'm worried that if I go TOO dark, I'll lose cable definition. That's as far as I've gotten.

Today, I think I need someone else to be the decider! Green? Brown? Too dark? Other opinions?
